Shown here is the wax master copy of the proposed swimming otters currently
being worked on which will shortly be moulded and then cast in bronze
using the lost wax process. More detailed photographs of the completed
sculpture cast in bronze, with the exact measurement and weight should be
available to be placed on this website towards the end of November 2003.
The sculpture is approximately 14
inches high ( 35 cm ) high and
should weigh approximately 4 kilo when cast in bronze. Each edition
will be signed by the Artist Ian G Brennan and will also have a signed
certificate of authenticity.
The sculpture shown here is the first wax copy,
the first editions to be cast in bronze at the foundry should be available
towards the middle of December 2003. The price for each sculpture will
be £ 373.00 ( pounds sterling ) or $ 595.00
US Dollars. This price will include packing, delivery via air freight and
insurance.

The usual
patina of the bronze swimming
otters when completed will be similar to the 'natural' colour of bronze
as shown with the single swimming otter ( A ) , however if preferred
alternative finishes other than the 'natural' bronze patina was required,
such as the 'onyx' type of patina similar to the photograph of the
prototype pair of swimming otters ( B ) this patina can be applied at
the foundry at an additional cost of £ 27.00 pounds sterling per
sculpture.
